Travelers along Nolensville Pike may notice that the bus shelters are wrapped in colorful artwork. The series of vinyl-wrapped bus shelters features the works of local artists Daniel Arite and Thandiwe Shiphrah, LeXander Bryant, Tess Davies, Jairo and Susan Prado, and Tony Sobota.

Informed by the recommendations of Conexión Américas' Envision Nolensville Pike Collaborative and with technical support from WeGo Public Transit and Nashville Department of Transportation, Metro Arts challenged local artists with reimagining the Nolensville Pike corridor’s streetscape. Each project reflects the surrounding community. The artists’ designs came directly from their engagements with the people, organizations, and businesses along Nolensville Pike. Click on images below to read more about the artwork and hear from the artists themselves.
