
Metro Arts invites you to attend an upcoming Report Back session on the FY26 grant cycle.
Metro Arts will be hosting a series of Report Back sessions next week to discuss the policy, process, and outcomes of our FY26 grant application and review cycle.
These sessions will include a presentation to cover:

The grantmaking policies

The process of the application submission and evaluation process

An overview of FY26 award outcomes and funding allocations
Open discussion and Q&A opportunities will follow. In line with similar-themed events this past spring, these Report Back sessions are one way we aim to keep you informed about each grant cycle. Whether you applied for funding or are simply interested in how public arts investment is shaped, we welcome your participation.
In-person and virtual options are available. We encopurage you to attend, ask questions, and share feedback to help inform future cycles.

Metro Arts is pleased to announce our FY26 grant recipients!
This cycle covers 165 grants totaling $3,262,593 to support nonprofit arts organizations and artist-led community projects across Davidson County. These awards (79 General Operating Support grants and 86 Thrive project grants) reflect the creativity and resilience of Nashville’s arts community and will help sustain programs, deepen community engagement, and spark new work across 30 council districts. We thank the artists, organizations, review panelists, and community members whose care and commitment shaped this competitive process, and we remain focused on improving access and resources for all who create in Nashville.

Community Arts Leaders of Nashville Now Accepting Applications for Interns and Mentors.
Are you an undergraduate student passionate about the arts or an arts professional eager to mentor the next generation?
The Community Arts Leaders of Nashville (CALN) program offers paid internships, mentorship, and professional development for college students who want to build careers in the arts. Interns are matched with arts-focused nonprofits in Davidson County and provided additional support by experienced mentors.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, grow your network, and contribute to Nashville’s vibrant arts community.
Now Accepting Applications for:

Interns: Work-eligible undergraduate students enrolled at a public or private college, university or post-secondary institute of higher learning located in the state of Tennessee with an interest in arts leadership, community engagement, and nonprofit work. Mentors: Open to professional artists or arts administrators with at least 2 years of paid experience in the arts. Mentors cannot be an employee of the host site where the intern is placed. The deadline to apply is November 3rd at 11:59pm cst. Click here to apply.
